My name is Cassandra Wellsmore. I’ve been a writer since my early twenties. I have a passion for storytelling and sharing information in a way that is fun and engaging for the reader.
I have a love of Fantasy that encompasses all its subgenres. I am an admirer and reader of everything from High Fantasy through to Urban Paranormal. If there is magic in it somewhere there is a high likelihood I will love it. I aim to create stories in these genres for people to fall in love with too.
I have an adaptable writing style and would love to talk to you about crafting a voice or setting a scene for your project. I am open to the following proposals, though am always excited by something new. If you have a different style of project and you like my style or technique, please contact me to discuss it.

My Past Articles/Essays
Here you will find a selection of the previous publications I have written for. I try to aim for a range of styles and voices in my writing. I have written both nonfiction as well as fiction.

Naming the Goddess is a collection of essays published by Moon Books through John Hunt Publishing. My contribution was an essay on the goddess Frau Holle, covering her mythos, chronology of worship and modern methods of approaching the deity.
The Alternative Spirit Magazine is unfortunately no longer running from what I can see, though back issues are still available. For this magazine I worked as a columnist and article writer. Both creative non fiction and column content were written in a casual tone.

Cultivating Your Craft is a workbook series begun with the intent of providing a study method for pagans exploring their faith and practices on a deeper level. They are written in a tutorial tone and provide space for the reader to make their own notes.
